A New Generation...
In 2023, Chelsey Santucci, great nephew of Peter P. Rossi Jr. and Mary Rossi, became the new owner of both Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren and Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home of Warren. Having worked alongside his aunt and uncle for many years, Chelsey always dreamed of being a Funeral Director. It's a passion for him, and always has been. He loves working with people in their most difficult times and strives to make things a little easier for them. Chelsey graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1997 and went on to attend Youngstown State University. He graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2002 and continued on to graduate in 2003 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with an Associates Degree. While also, the owner of Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home and Thompson Filicky Funeral Home in Youngstown, Chelsey appointed funeral director and embalmer, Joseph Carrier, as funeral home manager and director to oversee day to day operations, funerals and arrangements. Joe is a proud native of Youngstown's west side. He graduated from Saint Christine Elementary School in 2010 and is a member of the 2014 graduating class of Ursuline High School. Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University in 2018 and his Associate's Degree from The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2019. He is the son of Nancy Gelonese-Kirchner and Joseph P. Carrier Sr. and the grandson of Funeral Director and Embalmer, Eugene Gelonese, who passed away in 1978. Joe and his wife, Ashley (Amendol) Carrier, belong to Saint Christine Parish in Youngstown.
In 2024, Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home made the official move to 1884 North Road NE, with the closure of the original Sinchak building on East Market Street. Families that call upon Sinchak Funeral Home now have full access to the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, which now houses and honors all Pre-Arranged funerals.
While newly retired, Peter Rossi Jr. is still dedicated to seeing each family as they come in and Chelsey and Joe are determined to continue the good work that started in 1938, serving each family with respect and dignity.
